Standard Process Purification Program: Week Two

I'm starting the Standard Process 21-Day Purification Program on January 3, 2022! Join me here for daily reflections and guidance.

Week Two has commenced! I always notice a shift switching from the SP Cleanse supplement to SP Green Food. I think the Cleanse tends to...clean you out more, whereas the Green Food is gentler and more nourishing.

I'm still noticing sugar cravings, and more importantly noticing the first hints of ennui with my food choices. This is a good time to branch out and experiment with spices or vegetables (or ancient grains) that aren't normally part of your diet. For me, that's furikake (sesame seeds with seaweed); smoked paprika; yuzu; and acorn squash. I know I enjoy all these flavors and textures, but I don't incorporate them often and I look forward to trying some new combinations.

I've also been doubling down on the chocolate-banana shakes, which feel extra satisfying to me.

Still needing more exercise. I'm realizing I don't have a good set up for a home exercise regimen (gosh I miss yoga studios), so that's something I'll tackle this week.
